MyGoodDeed, a prominent nonprofit group created by 9/11 family members and friends of 9/11 victims will unveil a Main Lobby exhibit to support the 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance and to launch the first ever 9/11 Runway to Service online charity auction.
The Main Lobby exhibit will feature information about the 9/11 National Day of Service and includes live connections to www.911dayofservice.org where Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week attendees can pledge to perform their own good deeds to commemorate 9/11.
MyGoodDeed and a group of leading designers will also kick off an online charity auction featuring Spring 2010 collection items donated from many top designers including Donna Karan, Tracy Reese, Carmen Marc Valvo, Max Azria, Phillip Lim, James Coviello, Milly, Vivenne Tam, Tommy Hilfiger and many others at www.911dayofservice.org/runway.
